At Ay Up Lighting Systems, we take pride in providing reliable and transparent shipping for all our customers—whether you’re in Australia or overseas.
Shipping Schedule
We generally ship orders on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Please note: Ordering on a Monday or Wednesday does not guarantee next-day dispatch. You’ll receive a confirmation email when your order ships, or if there are any unexpected delays.
Domestic Shipping (Australia)
- Carrier: We use Australia Post with trackable road freight services.
- Order Activation: Orders are processed only after full payment is received. If paying by Direct Deposit, please allow time for the funds to clear before shipping.
- Delivery Timeframe: Estimated delivery is 3–7 business days after shipping. If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 business days, contact us with your order number.
- Delivery Locations:
- Commercial addresses: Welcome! Be sure to include your business name.
- Parcel Lockers & P.O. Boxes: Accepted—secure, convenient, and available 24/7. Learn more about Parcel Lockers.
- Residential addresses: Someone must be available to sign for the package. If no one is available, the parcel will be taken to the nearest depot for collection (no redelivery option).

International Shipping
As of January 1, 2024, international orders must be processed manually. Online ordering is currently unavailable due to varying international shipping rates based on package content and destination.
To Place an International Order:
- Email us here with:
- Your delivery address
- Exact items you wish to order
- Include a contact phone number for shipping documents
- If you have an existing account, please log in to ensure your delivery address is current
We’ll promptly reply with a tailored shipping quote.
International Delivery Details
- Carrier: We ship via DHL Express for kits and batteries. Includes insurance and full tracking.
- Taxes & Duties: No Australian sales tax is charged, but your local customs office may apply taxes, duties, or clearance fees. DHL may also charge a customs clearance fee, depending on your country’s regulations.
- A physical address is required for all international shipments, and someone must be available to sign upon delivery.
Unfortunately, P.O. Boxes cannot be used for international orders. - Labeling: All parcels are marked as: “Bike Torch – Contains Lithium Battery(s)”
in compliance with international shipping laws. - HS Code: 8512.1000 (Bicycle lighting/visual signalling equipment).
Quote this code when speaking to your customs office. - USA Orders: No duty or sales tax is collected.
Once shipped, you’ll receive an email with your DHL tracking number.

Smaller International Orders (Non-Kit or Battery Items)
These items are sent via Australia Post Airmail.
Delivery typically takes 4–7 business days, but please allow up to 20 business days due to global shipping delays.
This is a traceable service (not fully trackable), meaning updates may be limited once the parcel leaves Australia.
Order Changes & Returns
- Order Changes: No modifications can be made once your order is confirmed.

If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a full refund (excluding original shipping and return costs).
Returned items must be in original, unused condition. Refunds are issued once we receive and inspect the returned items.
